In Côte d'Ivoire, several strategies have been put in place to prevent cervical cancer, including screening for precancerous lesions and their treatment. However, the proportion of women screened remains low. The aim was to determine the proportion of women having undergone cervical cancer screening and to identify associated factors in the Issia health district. This cross-sectional study took place in the Issia health district from September 2023 to January 2024. Our population consisted of 384 women aged 25 to 49 years. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analysed using R Studio software. Factors associated with cervical cancer screening were determined using multivariate analysis by logistic regression on explanatory variables. The mean age was 34±5.5 years. Among our respondents, 52.08% had a secondary school education, 67.45% were single, and the majority (88%) were multiparous. The primary sources of information about cervical cancer were television (91.9%) and friends and family (52.8%). The proportion of women who had undergone cervical cancer screening was 6.7%. Factors associated with low screening rates were liberal professions (ORa=0.11), the unemployed (ORa=0.18), and multiparity (ORa=0.04). To prevent cervical cancer, it's essential to raise awareness among multiparous, unemployed and self-employed women and to involve healthcare staff in communicating about screening.
